Central Texas October Floods

On Wednesday, October 30, 2013, a strong, upper-level storm system, deep tropical moisture from Tropical Storm Raymond (in the Pacific) and moist low-level flow from the Gulf of Mexico over the Southern Plains collided over Central Texas to produce a significant to extreme flash flooding event over Central Texas. This resulted in significant flooding and destruction of homes.

Travis Austin Recovery Group (TARG), a long term recovery committee, has formed and additional information can be found on their website: targroup.wordpress.com
